Provides free, independent and accurate information and resources for prospective and current students (and other researchers). The in-depth directory is a round up of the best and in some cases free links and resources within a specific subject area. In most cases they list both printed reference works and electronic resources.

Business Advisory Centre Northumberland The Business Advisory Centre's mandate is to assist the needs of entrepreneurs throughout Northumberland County who are seeking information on starting a small business or who require assistance with an existing business.

Business Number (BN) registration The BN is a numbering system that simplifies and streamlines the way businesses deal with the federal government. Incorporating your Business Business corporations may be incorporated under the Business Corporations Act by filing Articles of Incorporation together with required supporting documents and payment of the required fee.  It is the responsibility of the incorporator to ensure that Articles of Incorporation are properly filed with the branch in accordance with the Business Corporations Act and conform to law.
Not-for-profit corporations may be incorporated under the Corporations Act by filing an application for Letters Patent, with supporting documents and payment of the required fee.

Provincial Laws on Line e-Laws is a database of Ontario's statutes and regulations, both consolidated and source law. The e-Laws database is updated continually. Specific information about the currency of consolidated law on e-Laws is contained within each consolidated statute and regulation. New source law is usually published on e-Laws within two business days.

Quinte Economic Development Commission Quinte Economic Development Commission (QEDC) provides regional marketing programs that attract new industry as well as strategic support that helps local industries grow more competitive and profitable. The QEDC has a track record of successful programs. In recent years, its Food and Beverage Training Series and the Integrated Workforce Development System, have obtained $4.5 million for internships and training rebates. Workforce Development Board The Workforce Development Board (WDB) is a community based, not-for-profit corporation that serves the cities of Peterborough and Kawartha Lakes and the counties of Northumberland, Peterborough and Haliburton.
