The core of the Apple Route follows signs along Heritage Highway 2 and "spurs" take the traveler to scenic Presqu'ile Park near Brighton, historical Lakeport, past Fort Kente at Carrying Place and connects with the Loyalist Parkway.

Numerous craft stores and roadside markets carry apple-theme items. Enjoy the Apple Route "Volksmarches" which take you along scenic walks.
