The Brighton & District Chamber of Commerce
Established in 1994, the Chamber's objective is to:
"promote
and improve
trade and commerce
and the economic,
civic, and
social welfare
of the district
served by this
organization"
The Chamber
serves the
Municipality
of Brighton,
Colborne and
Cramahe Township,
and the Murray
Ward of Quinte
West. We are
a nonprofit,
membership-generated
organization
based on promoting
economic development
and tourism
for all businesses
in our district.
The
Chamber supports
efforts to
enhance the
business environment
in which we
operate, provides a strong
voice in lobbying
the governments
regarding legislation,
information
on  business,
trade opportunities
and training,
direct referrals
and the ability
to network
with other
members. All members of the Brighton Chamber are also members of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce
In addition to our regular chamber business activities we provide year round tourism information, administrative support to the Brighton Downtown Business Improvement Association and Apple Route Tourism. The chamber also houses the Brighton Community Policing office.
Online computer access with b/w laser printing is available at the Chamber office to the public for job searching, resume preparation, travel information of e-mails. This service is free of charge.
